Punching a hammer eye hole in the railroad spike hammer using a very rare Paul Pinto Jr handled hammer eye punch. Paul made me this a few years ago and I honestly never used it for its intended purpose until now. That being said, it did the job perfectly! @fairfield_steel_works isn’t in the hammer making business anymore so you’re out of luck to get one for yourself. I also got an opportunity to use the dividing calipers I made from another railroad spike a while back. #forged #blacksmithing #ha
