OVALTINE Ovaltine started with a purpose. In the late 1800s, Swiss chemist Dr. Georg Wander was determined to fight malnutrition. After his death, his son Albert Wander continued the mission and, in 1904, developed Ovomaltine. This nutritious drink was made from malt, milk, eggs, and cocoa.
