As of 11:28 AM on Thursday, PHIVOLCS has recorded at least 40 discrete pyroclastic density current (PDC) events at Mayon Volcano since midnight. Mayon Volcano remains under Alert Level 3, indicating intensified or magmatic unrest. Meanwhile, residents are advised against entering the 6-kilometer Permanent Danger Zone (PDZ).
